Just DUMP vista? oh baby i wish i could. This company had a good product call XR...but now ALL Windows is going Vista...and the company product is JUNK. It works with almost NOTHING. It has ruined Two Computers which i ended up so screwed up i decide to replace them. I DISPISE Vista...never EVER have heard a GOOD WORD about it..it it TOTAL JUNK..and RUINS your computers, and your business if you are computer dependent, who isnt these days...it is the FALL of Microsoft..just WATCH...someone now will come alone with a PRODUCT THAT WORKS...Vista is opening the future by being so awful it demands some other company FILL IN THE VOID of a workable Software.

First of all windows vista has compatibility issues with almost everything, second the microsoft updates aren't that important and some of them actually harm ur pc by opening ports in your windows firewall for viruses and trojans, third if u still want to update just log on the microsoft site, choose the vista tab or in the search bar type "vista update" then u can update your system, this problem can be because you aren't connected to the internet, your connection isn't that good "u get disconnected every few seconds", your updater isn't running, the microsoft site is down, or there aren't any current upgrades for the windows.

SOURCE: updates

Are you connected to the Internet when the problem occurs? If not, that is the reason you are getting the error message.
