Beater bar The beater bar will not work. I have changed the belt and there is a lot of suction from the hose. Just seems like the base is not turning on

I accidentally let my bag overfill & it burst inside the vacuum. After cleaning the vacuum, checking the beater bar, & belt, cleaning the hose & making sure there was no clog it still does not work properly & gives off foul odor.I accidentally let my bag overfill & it burst inside the vacuum.
