The MUSIC folder is a "hidden" folder when in MSC mode.
To view it (assuming you're using Windows XP) go to:
My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View Tab.
Scroll down till you see Hidden Files and Folders
and click on Show Hidden Files and Folders, and then OK.
You should then be able to see all the folders on your Sansa. The
"hidden" folders will appear slghtly lighter in color. This is where
you can delete click on folder then go toleft of screen to "delete this
folder" (or open folder and click individual song" then go to left of
screen
Actually you cannot delete them from your mp3. you gotta connect it via usb to your pc, go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync pane in windows media player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete.
Hope this helps
If you still not able to delete it let me know so I can have you try something else...
P.S.Please rate accordingly...

No nothing works NO FORMATING NO HIDDEN FILES NO NOTHING THIS MP3 IS MESSED UP ! SERIOUSLY WOW OMG.....I TRIED EVERYTHING !
I have a 8 GB Sansa e280, I use windows media to sync to my device. One day I went to change my selection, I formated it threw windows media, then I added all my songs to the sync list I wanted on my device, as it was sync there were a bunch of songs that would have an error mark beside them, or it would freeze threw the process. I took out the battery hoping that it would reset. Now as I try it I still get the same thing but the files that have been synced don't show up on the device, just one song. I try and look it up on window media and it tells me that "There are no files on this device" but it also tells me that there is only 4.3 GB left. So what I got here is that I have files in my device but I can access them, listen to them or remove them. What do I do? I want my use out of it.
Thaks you for that information
