New system (DELL) 531 W/windows Vista
Lexmark Printer Trying to install , has been installed using USB cable
Still no comunication
Shutdown / Reinstalled at least 10 times , same problem
Open your printers folder and make sure you do NOT have a bunch of duplicate installs. If you do, delete them all and then install just one. Be sure you have a good USB cable. Try using the same cable on some other USB device that usually works. If that device wont work with the printers USB cable, its most likely a bad cable. also try using a different USB port. I have seen a lot of computers that have a problem with USB ports suddenly dieing for no apparent reason.
