E-99 indicates that there is some type of mechanical jam, the microprocessor requires reset, or the system had some major failure. try to remove power from the system for a few moments, and then reconnect. this will rest the microprocessor and possibly restore function. if there's a disc stuck in the magazine, or stuck somewhere in the loading or unloading sequence, it's sometimes possible to free this but the changer will have to be removed from the vehicle and partially disassembled.
