It's not on a key but in a menu. It's in the Math menu, the Complex menu, and the Matrix menu, depending on the type of the argument.

How can I find the mean absolute deviation?

Mean absolute deviation.
Let's break it down into its components.
Mean - Average
Absolute - absolute value - sign doesn't matter - if negative, make positive
Deviation - difference from the mean

Let's do an example. Population 3 7 4 2. Total 16. Mean (Average) 16/4 = 4.

Deviations
3 - 4 = -1 absolute value 1
7 - 4 = 3
4 - 4 = 0
2 - 4 = -2 absolute value 2

Sum of these deviations 1 + 3 + 0 + 2 = 6
Mean (average) of these deviations is 6 / 4 = 1.5.

Good luck,

Paul

How do i solve equations involving absolute value

You must consider two cases.
1st case: What is inside the absolute value symbols is supposed positive. Remove the absolute value symbols and proceed to solve.
2nd case: What is inside the absolute value symbols is supposed negative. Enclose the contents of the absolute value within parentheses, put a negative sign in front the left parenthesis, and proceed to solve.
Gather the solutions obtained in the two cases. Use a Union symbol for the solution set.

Absolute bars

Be careful what you say. There is no such thing as an absolute bar. There is a function called the absolute value. To represent it one uses two vertical bars (pipe symbols) '-13' =13,
'a-b'= a-b if a-b>0,
and
'a-b'=-(a-b)
if a-b<0

What is a MAP in a 2002 grand am?

Vacuum is the difference between the absolute pressures of the intake manifold and atmosphere. Vacuum is a "gauge" pressure, since gauges by nature measure a pressure difference, not an absolute pressure. The engine fundamentally responds to air mass, not vacuum, and absolute pressure is necessary to calculate mass. The mass of air entering the engine is directly proportional to the air density, which is proportional to the absolute pressure, and inversely proportional to the absolute temperature.

Hey it is. Okay, so start with a equation: say, y = -(1 |x|). Now type y = -(1 , then press the [OPTN] button, next to the shift. Next press the [NUM] button or F5. The first menu button should be Abs or absolute value. When your done it should look like this. y = -(1 Abs (x)) then graph it.
