Whats the code for this broksonic CTSGT8118T that i can enter into my comcast remote. dont have the original, thanks
Comcast says that if the codes listed in the instruction brochure provided with the remote (10236 and 10463 for Broksonic) don't work, you should code 991 into the remote and then press the CH+ button repeatedly in order to search through the library of installed IR codes until the TV turns off, then press SET once to lock the code. This worked fine for me, although I must admit I had to press the CH+ button well over 100 times until I came across the proper code in the library to turn the TV off. Unfortunately, there is no way to know what 5 digit code this represents so that if I need to reprogram the remote in the future, I will need to go through the same time-comsuming process all over again.
