i have replaced my 2.4 celeron(400) with a Pentium 2.8 Ghz (L2 512 800bus) processor. But "Micro code update error" appears on starting with F1 prompt. Pressing F1 it goes well. I updated bios to ver 2.43. But it could't fix the problem. What should i do now

Go into the bios select fail safe settings then save.

It doesn't have the fail safe setting option or have a American megaTrend bios. it looks like old Compaq bios's (p1 p2 p3)
