If it show u currepted the use hp usb disk formet tool
the use easyrecover tools for recover data
and if it
wil not showing data but space is used then just go to show hidden file and su ur data
This should not be to hard to recover.
Unless reformatted it is likely that only file indexing problem is the issue.
Thumb drives are for copies.
Never allow a flash drive to ever be your only copy.
