Cannot open itunes app. unknown error 50. I reloaded itunes; made sure windows firewall allows access. But did not delete folders in my documents/my music. Should I do so and uninstall again or any thoughts would be appreciated. Same error message

I had the same problem but after much fiddling i found the solution.
Open Program Files then look for the itunes application.
If it hasn't got exe after its name simply rename it itunesexe hey presto problem solved.
