Network problem In My system I've installed win-98. and the Network card RTL8139/810x family PCI fast ethernet NIC also installed. The card driver installed properly. I've checked by self ping(127.0.0.1). But that system is not connecting with the network. The network environment is with workgroup. What could be the problem?

    i also instal realtek rtl8101e family pci-e fast ethernet NIC. The driver that i have work only on vista, but i have windows xp. i can't get a free download how can you help me.

Make sure u r in same work group,remove and instal in other pci slot and try,check cable connections up to server ,instal a antivirus progarm and scan ,if u are adwanced user u can use dos mode antivirus programes
