My dryer will not start. You can set it and the lights come on as to the cycle and it appears it is going to work, but when you press start, the display blinks "dr". can anyone please tell me what problem that indicates? Even the service men do not know what it is.
Dr means door problem, either some clothes is keeping it from shutting or the door switch is bad

I'm getting the "dr" reading too, and there is nothing in the way of the door closing. I read elsewhere that even if the door-switch is bad the dryer will still work in the low/fluff/delicate setting. Mine does this. Can you explain how I can fix the door-switch? I have never tried to open up a dryer before, so I'm pretty new to this. Thanks for any help.
