I have problems with my DIR-855 since it disconnects the wireless net. This sometimes happens once a minute. The Internet access is lost for about 4-5 seconds and then it's OK again. This problem only appears when I connect wireless to the Internet. When I use the LAN it all works fine. So the problem isn't in my Internec connection or in my ADSL modem. The problem have become worse the last 3-4 months. Earlier I had another simpler D-Link router but then I didn't experience any problem.
You might have a lot of neighbours using wifi, you get interference. Download "Inssider" and scan your area, usually this type of problem means several people on the same channel of wifi. to change your channel, log into your router (type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 into internet explorer. then change the channel settings.
