Oster 18speed blender is there a reset button tired to blend a drink. Started a little slow and then quit, waited a few minutes tried to start it, but doesn't work

Hi, cauliflour is not compact no water mix, I have suggestion , cut it 1/2" long make it fine put in blender mix w/small amount of water then start. shut off mix with wooden mixer and start again then okey.

Check the motor brushes. They may be worn out. Also, since the 1980s, many electric motors have a thermal fuse in them. This unit "blows" when it gets to a certain temperature.
This fuse looks like a 22-caliber bullet and its pointed end is usually colored. If you have an ohmmeter or continuity checker, see if current will pass through the fuse. If not, you can try to replace it. Most times, the fuse is attached with crimp-on connectors. Replacements can be soldered in, if you put a clip-on heat sink between the fuse body and the soldering iron.

It looks like you line up the threads, place the base on, and twist to tighten.

Yeah, the blades probably need to be replaced. The replacement blade assemblies for most models can be ordered directly from Oster - their phone # is 1-800-334-0759 - you have to go through an elaborate menu tree to get to the right place.

Flip it upside down and take the bottom off and look for a fuse.
