You must Have All Files In the my_music directory with NO sub directories. And as said before YOU HAVE 32 Characters. Most of your Mp3s will have a tag on it that will tell you (the phone) all the info you will ever need to know about a song. Some day lyrics.

I have my phone with a micro sd card but cant make my music work. I dont have the service from Verizon now so I wonder if I have the software they use always to manage the music that is call VCAST or can I make it work just with my micro sd card?
This phone used to work with Verizon but I´m in another country now and I cant use that service now. Does that has to do with that at all or do I need to buy the usb cable to load the music in my phone ???
Please help!!

I work for vzw tech support and see this problem all the time. You need to make sure your file name is under 32 characters with no special characters (ie @$%/). you can rename ur files in music manager or in ur file folders and then sync to your phone. also, make sure your card is formatted to your phone. remember, if you format your card, it will erase everything on it, so be sure to have it backed up.

Maybe you did not set your micro sd as your default memory. it doesn't support the file you downloaded to your micro sd.
