Return the setting back to 480i, your in progressive scan and your tv is not excepting the signal. your manual should tell you how. there may be a button on the remote or switch in the back of the unit or some sequence of commands to switch in to 480i. all DVD players are different in how this change is made. p.scan means progressive scan which is line doubling the picture standard tv's can not scan that high (EDTV's are 31.5KHz, standard tv's are 15.75KHz).
