I recorded about four tracks on a CD using this product. I hit the pause button to close the last track while it was still in record mode. I accidentally shut off the recorder without finalizing the disc. When I turned the recorder back on, it did not read any of my previously recorded tracks or let me finalize the disc. I know there is audio written on the disc because it is visable on the underside. Is there a way to finalize this disc?
When you insert the disc what does the recorder display after it examines it (Reading TOC)? - CDR, TOC, CDR-W, NO TOC?
It should know the disc is not finalized and let you either record more on it or finalize it.
If not, and you need to recover the 4 tracks try loading the disc on a DVD player. My old Pioneer will read unfinalized CDR-A's so I can digitally copy what's on them back to another CDR-A.
I can't say about what DVD players will play unfinalized CDR's but my old Pioneer Elite DV45A does. With no vaild TOC you probably won't be able to manipulate tracks selection but it will at least play through all tracks in order. If you ever use CDRW's just be careful that you pause the recorder at the end of the last desired track because the player won't stop if there's old program material beyond it.

When I insert the disc it comes up "0 Track 0:00"
Will most DVD players recognize unfinalized CDR-A's? or do only certain ones?
I've been looking for software online and everything to get this track off the CD. It's an important podcast that I need so I'm trying everything.
