Color blurs + cuts off and on periodically. Is it a bulb problem or is it more invovlved?
Since you say bulb, i will assume that this is a dlp projection set. Blurry color on a dlp usually means that dust has gotten into the optics assembly or that it has settled on the mirror. as for the cutting off periodically that could be the lamp (more often than not) or it could be an intermittant lamp thermistor which monitors the lamp tempature. If this is a tube projection set then in mitsubishi units this usually means that one of the projection tubes is weak and needs to be replaced. Hope this helps.
