Exposure problem I have just purchased a Canon 40D. When shooting in Manual mode with an external flash, (photogenic) my exposure always looks correct thru the lcd but it always flashes -2 no matter what setting I have the camera on. What am I missing? I am relying on the camera's reading as my light meter is broken.

Your 40D requires that you use an ETTL-II type flash like the Canon 380-EX. What flash are you using?
