Given an old corporate ibm thinkpad but not told how to log on. how do i remove the novell firmware and create a logon. do not have any software, bootup disks, etc.
If you don't know the username OR passwords to get on the corporate laptop, download a software called Ophtcrack (sp?). It will give you all logon passwords and usernames for the laptop.
Also another possibility is to load one of the graphical Linux OS's available on the market. Load the new OS on a cd, they press F12 to enter into the boot device menu, and select CD drive. You might want to try Umbuntu (Windows-like Linux OS)
Good luck!
