No database. i have no database on my sony walkman mp3 player!

Download SonicStage software here. When you've installed the software, format the player from the menu. Then transfer your music with this program.
That should work.

Had the same thing happen with 2 gig model nwz-b105.. pressed reset button it works again ..didn't lose anything that was on it

Let me try then i will tell you.

Another solution could be :
first copy /transfer all files ( you have on your mp3 player) on your computer !
after that you up load them again (and the new files) !
In the end you should have all old & new songs on your sony-mp3 player!

in my case it worked that way =)
