Help please i plug my SVP DV-12T camera into my USB port and then i go to my computer and click coach camera then my camera shuts off i can not get my pictures off my camera to my PC please someone help

    so i don't have a users manual the camera was given to me by itself was wondering if you could maybe tell me how to get pics off camera on to computer or tell me where to download user manual

You need a SD card reader. my computer has one as well as my printer so it is like reading the info from a cd player.
you can buy the reader at Steaples or compusa... for about $10. you don't need software just the reader OTTO
