I would try to find specific drivers that are relevant to your make and model. However, drivers will only apply to devices that pertain to certain criteria so if you were to install the latest it wouldn't harm your device, it will just most likely not have any affect.

Replacement battery won't charge on acer aspire 7740 5691
Hi
As u said that replacement Battery is not charging then i would like to suggest to check the battery's hardware. Try to change the battery once as it could be the battery's fault.

I cannot get my laptop to start. I have bought a new power cord, and it will not charge or start. I have an acer aspire 7736z. What could the problem be?
Try removing the battery, it may be defective. Remove the battery and see if the unit powers up when plugged in.
Check to see if the charge light at least comes on when it's plugged in....if it doesn't, then the socket the power supply plugs into may need to be re-soldered.

Records in .avi format. Want .mpg

May want to go in the control panel and under sounds icon, double click and check to see where the settings for the pc speakers are set, you may have an equallizer on that can be adjusted> try that
