After putting designs across to the basic card from the card reader, when put into the Bernette 600 Deco machine I get a message telling me that it is not an embroidery card to remove the card and replace it with an embroidery card. the card is the one that came with the Card reader program. It worked once but not the next few times .
Try putting your design in a smaller hoop. If I make a design using the largest hoop, it will write to the card, but the machine will give me an error stated that it is a foreign card. Try the 10.25 x 6.25 size hoop.
I had a similar problem and message on my Deco 650 and found that I misunderstood writing to the disk on my PED Basic. When I pressed the write button it came up with a note saying that it would delete all designs on the card. I'd just spent hours learning how to use it (?) before I realized I had not truly 'written' the patterns to the card.

Maybe you are transferring too larger design over to the machine try a small design and see if it accepts that.
I haven't got the 600 buyt I do have a Bernette Deco and when I save designs on my USB stick I have to ensure they are saved to a particular folder in the stick. Perhaps there is a similar type of requirement?

Having the exact same problem. Have worked repeatedly trying to fix this, contacted Brother and they have no answer.
