If you are wanting to re-install your system press either F9, F10 , F11 Or F12 As soon as your laptop says ACER on it. You should hopefully have the OS pre installed ready to re-install any time you want. However, if you are wanting to delete all the files on your laptop and formatt the hard drive. go to < MY COMPUTER. < Right Click The Hard-Drive you want to format and select format.

On the memory card assuming its a standard sd, there will be a small plastic piece that you can slide forward and back. When forward it makes everything read only and back means it enables editing.

Connect your MP3 to a PC or Laptop, when it connects, you should see it either as a memory folder or an MP3 folder in 'My Computer'. Right click the logo that is your piece and click on Format. Kaput!

While I cannot actually help you directly, I have located (and downloaded and looked the manual for your printer. In the trouble shooting section it discusses the simptom you describe.

Cannot reformat in FAT or NTFS formats. Shows message saying write protected. card formatted in a kodak camera
is this an SD card? If so, there is a small sliding piece of plastic with a lock and unlock position, make sure this is in the unlock position.

The tracks on a CD are in .wav format, and need to be converted to .mp3 format.
There are a large number of pieces of software that can do this conversion.
If you don't already have one enter "best free mp3 converters" on Google and pick one that suits you.

Once you have converted your CD to .mp3 format, transfer the files to it just as you would to a thumb drive.

How to memory card format?
One of the more thorough tools I have used is HP's USB formatting utility.

Do a Google search for "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool" (there are several reputable sites for getting this piece of software) and load it onto your computer.

Insert your card and take note of what drive letter is assigned to it... That will be the drive you want the utility to do its magic with.
