Recently i bought Nokia IP350. initially i wasnot able to get any output on console. After changing the DB connector, i can see the output on the console. now the issue is i cannot type anything on the CLI. it throws all the output like system bios config, 1 bootmgr, 2 ipso and defalut as 1. it doesnot allow me to choose 2. after that it keeps on showing all the interfaces and its duplex and speed. VPN-1 connected to FW-1. cant assign requested address (send to 62.239.22.70). it even comes up with login mode but soon other output follows. tried rebooting several times but no luck. please help
It sounds like the DB connector still has a few pinouts set up incorrectly. Nokia has exact specs listed for pinouts on their website. I recommend matching that up perfectly. If that doesn't work then the console port could be bad, but that is rare.
