Cutter Problem I have a 1055cm plus with multi-roll feeder. The plotter began making what can best be called a rattling noise when cutting yesterday. Since the noise began the cuts have been getting a little ragged. Not necessarily torn but definately not clean either. This morning during a print job the carriage stopped after a cut and the plotter displayed the error "Turn printer off and check print path." When checking the path I discovered a black rubber washer approx 3in in diameter wedged beneath the carriage underneath the black print head. I'm unable to determine where the washer came from, and the cutter continues to rattle. Any advice?

The cutter has that bushing attached to act as a tire as it travels across the scan axis, these infrequently wear out and cause the carriage to basically drag the blade behind causing your uneven cut pattern, the cutter must be replaced. If you need direction on how to do so please contact me
