i do have 2 slots in my cpu for my memory cars one is 256mb and a 128 mb cards but whwnever i check the system information on my computer it is just showing that it has 96 mb RAM. what do you think is wrong with my pc?

Hi,

Chances are your 256Mb memory is defective and your 128Mb is down to 96Mb because your motherboard on-board (built-in) video is sharing/using the 32Mb as its memory.
