is there anyway to use my windows xp product key to reinstall xp?i still have the sticker(certificate of authenticity) on my laptop,serious issuse happening and i want to wipe the slate clean and start from scratch

Yes, you can use the key to install xp, but xp is no longer supported by Microsoft as a current operating system.
