F13 means not heating
F13 is the heating element. It is at the bottom of the drum at the front. If you know how to remove the front panel then it is reasonably easy to change. You can also test the continuity before you change it. I got a new element for under 20GBP. The element is held in place by the bolt on the earth point. It takes a bit of working to get it out as the rubber seal is deformed as it is installed in order to make a tight seal. I ended up removing the front of the drum as well. About 3hrs DIY work start to finish so perhaps worth the call out fee.
