Please help! We have an Amana alw480daw washing machine w/ a stainless steel tub. Despite the horrible reviews it's received, we've been fairly happy with it...until today. We are having some work done in our basement and have had an outlet box installed for the washing machine (which previously drained in a tub). During the rinse/spin cycle, there are suds coming out of the box. The plumming seems fine and drainage is good...it's just during this cycle. I've done some research to find that several people have had this problem with THIS WASHER. What would cause this, and how do I fix it? I'd hate to get a new washer, only to find out that it was the plumbing line.
