If this is a built in mounted under an overhead cabinet, Just open the above cabinets and there will be 2 long screws facing downward that hold it in place, if it is a built in that is framed in then you will need to remove the frame and the brackets behind the frame that are holding it in place and then slide it out.
I have no overhead cabinet.
On Sharp R-1850a in my 2000 Monaco La Palma (love my bus) there was a thin piece of wood (for dress) that I had to pry out. This piece of wood was literally only in via friction. Once I pried the wood out from above the microwave "fan opening", it revealed two more screwed that held the microwave in the wall. Have one hand on the microwave, and one working the screwdriver. You'll need a long one, as the screws are 10 inches or so back. Once you take these out, the unit came right out. Be ready for the weight. Though they said it was 70lbs, it felt like less. I put a couch cushion on the stove top/counter top, and put a towel over that. I grabbed the Microwave and set it down on that, and collected my thoughts from there.

You need to remove the grill above the door to find two more screws that go straight to the back wall plate. They will be on the left and right side. There are chrome or a gold color. That is the only other way that they mount to the wall.

The only problem that ricksterboy doesn't list, is there are also two screws located underneath as well. You have to take off the filter screens to find them. They secure into steel supports inside the microwave.
No getting the micro off the wall w/o removing them, or using a sledge hammer...which after all the time we used trying to get the thing off the wall, seemed like a good theraputic option.
Lucky we took off the vent cover and discovered the additional anchors.

I just removed our Sharp R-1420B microwave. Unplug the microwave. Start by removing the two bolts from the top cabinet (one left and one right). Remove the decorative screws (one left and one right) from the bottom support bracket. I used a plastic bucket sitting on the range as support under the microwave (you may need a couple different sizes). Once the bucket is in place, pull down on the attachment brackets where the decorative bolts were located near the bottom. I used a vise grip to attach and pull them down, and they came down fairly easy. By doing this, the top of the microwave should become detached from the wall. Once you allow the microwave to tilt down far enough (you may need to move the bucket or use a shorter one), you should be able to lift the bottom of the unit off the lower support bracket. Now you can just pull it out from the wall.
