TROUBLE;UPPER THREAD KEEPS BREAKING;
This could be trouble;================Do this;
1.Top tension to tight================loosen tension 1 turn
2.Machine improperly threaded=========check threading
3.Thread twisted on guide post========"
4.Thread twisted out of tension======="
5.Take up spring bent or broken=======Check action of spring
6.Thread jumped off pull off finger===Check threading
7.Needle bent or burred===============new needle
8.Bad cone of thread==================try another cone
TROUBLE;LOWER THREAD KEEPS BREAKING;
1.Bobbin tensionspring to tight=======Loosen tension slightly
2.Bobbin threaded wrong===============check threading
3.Bobbin wound to tight or uneven=====try new bobbin
4.lint or thread on bobbin case=======clean inside case
5.Lint or thread inside hook==========clean inside hook
6.Bobbin case nicked bent or burred===check/change case

take a look at this video ..it is not the same model ..but the main idea is the same ..(and visual explaining is best ..
only this model has the frst part of the thread going under a lid ..but the threading is made the same way ..the only difference is that the spool will have a vertical position ..and will go first behind the top left ..
here I found a manual for it ..but it is not free..(it seams there are no free manuals available ...)

I wasn't able to locate an actual manual for your Janome 9000 Memory Craft sewing machine. Believe me, I searched! I was able to find assistance to issues from the Janome website. Goto http://content.janome.com/index.cfm/FAQ then scroll down to MC9000 then click on category in the FAQ section or just click on search. Their database is huge. There may be some assistance in those pages. You can also try http://content.janome.com/index.cfm/Machines/Retired/MC9000 I know its not a manual, its a start. I wish you all the best.
