When I boot the computer there pop up a little screen says: "detected PDM keylogger" what does that mean, and is it a thread to my computer. I used the 2009 version, the licence expired and the bought 2010 version. Now I have that nasty little screen. Can you help Dirk van Eeden, South Africa

What it says is that there might be software which acts as a keylogger installed on your computer. Very briefly, keylogger is software which records everything you type on your computer. However, kaspersky sometimes happens to give a false positive and recognize software as keyloggers , whereas they are not. So, try to see where this software is located and check if it really contains a keylogger!

ok dont dispair, you could have a 2003 norton and upgrade it to any 20## version, goto nortons web page drop the tech support a email tell them your plight and they have online help they will walk you through it. It is your old registry items that are stoping you that is all. but you paid for it so use there people to heal the problem

SOURCE: On 4/6 I renewed my subscription to norton

You don't need to update the Norton program to fix the issue
please reactivate the Norton program with the newer product
