I have the same proble with mya colpix s710, anyone can help
This is a problem many Coolpix S710 owners have had and many have had a defective internal battery (it keeps the time and date). To see if yours is defective, fully charge the main battery, put it in the camera and let it set with the power button off for 24 hours. Try to set the time and date and see if it holds. If not, the battery needs to be replaced by a service center or just live with setting the time and date each time.
