Is there a reset button for the power switch? for a E207WFPc DELL monitor.

check the secondary section, something is short. not sure what it is may be 5 volts regulator exceed voltage, EHT transformer drive transistors are short (some used the SMD) or may be the Power supply is not giving proper voltage (not able to take load).

Hi,
The problem you have mentioned may not be due to contrast setting but the LCD itself . Power on the mointor and disconnect the signal cable from the back. if you see a self test box running on the LCD , the LCD is oK . If you donnot see the self test box the LCD is back. Dell doesnot service LCDs and you may need to get in touch with the local repair shop.

Remove the Stand, Remove the 4 Screws from behind the spot where the stand connects to, then take a flat ended object such as a butter knife or a sharp knife, and unclip the black face. then the screen comes right apart, this solution is also the same for the 20xx-30xx Dell WFP Models.
