Thanks for using FixYa. To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing
the door and press these buttons in sequence...

Yes, this was really helpful. After reseting my dishwasher it's working again. Thanks so much you just don't know how much a relief this is to get it working again. Truly I can't afford to buy another one right now.
Yes- this stopped the light flashing, and, after a bit of cycling, the dishwasher seems ready to go again. Bigger problem (which I don't know if fixed yet) is that the dishwasher was taking 2 or more hours to run, which is why I interrupted it in the first place.
