SOURCE: brightness and contrast screen in center of monitor and can't remove it
the micro switches on the monitor are getting short which is triggering the menu, try to clean it with a switch cleaner or check if the switches can be replaced, do this only if u r an expert in handling things like this or take some proffessional assistance.

I was having the same problem. installed xtune, updated driver. Nothing
But I finnaly fixed it. Removed the hdmi connector and stuck with VGA. Problem (annoying) solved!
