Hi,

You can download Adobe Flash Player from the following link:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/

The download should start automatically.

If a dialog box appears with the option to run or save, click run.

I cannot run youtube on linux, it says I need to up date adobe. So what do I need to do? Please help, thanks

Go to adobe.com update what it is you need to update. But on linux you might have to find one for linux it self because if i remember correctly when i did update it still told me same thing so i had to search google for a linux version of adobe updater.
Then it properly worked after that so you might need to do some searching for linux also helping you would join the linux forums... or something where everyone is using linux same as you so you can get help as well.

In my computer how I instal adobe flase player what is the prosses

You simply go to this link: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ click download and automatically will install Flash. However, if you are behind a proxy, the download may fail, and you need to get the stand alone version of the installer from here for Windows: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Macromedia-Flash-Player-Download-24146.html and run the file after download.
Alternatively, search on Softpedia for Flash Player for Mac or Linux.

Flash player plugin not recognized under Mandriva

1. Download the plugin to begin installation. A dialog box will appear asking you where to save the file. Download link >

http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Utilities/Adobe-Flash-Player-for-Linux-18853.shtml

2. Save the .tar.gz file to your desktop and wait for the file to download completely.
3. Quit your browser.
4. Remove all existing Adobe Flash Player installations from the system.
5. Unpackage the file. A directory with contains libflashplayer.so will be created.
6. Copy libflashplayer.so to ~/.mozilla/plugins. Create the 'plugins' folder if it does not exist yet.
7. Launch your brower. To verify installation in Firefox choose Help > About Plug-ins from the browser menu.

Hope this solves your problem, please let me know as I was also an ex-windows user and the switch over requires allot of new learning for the linux environment.
