SOURCE: Code FL, won't empty tub on last cycle

FL = Flood condition

FL flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lack condition in order for FL to be displayed

With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time-out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

This problem i see on these are the water pumps getting clogged with lint or other things, causing the pump not to pump all of the water out at times.

A flashing “FL1” display means the flow switch is
malfunctioning open, the filter cartridge is excessively
dirty or an “air lock” condition has occurred at the
circulation pump intake.

SOURCE: error code FL and does not drain completly

most probably needs the water pump replaced.  not hard to do if you are a little handy..  there were a lot of problems with this machine regarding the water pumps.

SOURCE: Error Code FL

The FL (Over Fill) error code indicates that the flood pressure switch is open (tripped). It is likely that you are getting the LD (Long Drain) fault code because the control detects that the flood pressure switch will not reset after running the drain pump. Your likely failure is in the flood pressure switch

Tapping on the flood pressure switch with the handle of a screw driver may reset it. Reassemble the washer and see if it will work properly. If not, then you will need to replace the flood pressure switch. The part number for the flood pressure switch is 8054767. You can order this part from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number for the flood pressure switch is 8054767.

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite 22062 washer, code FL. FL flashes

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error LF indicates long fill, which flashes when the water level won’t change for a period of time after the valves are turned on or the water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change. TO resolve this issue check if the water supply is turned on and the hose screens are not plugged or kinked. If the water is not entering the machine then check the water valve, also check the pressure hose connection to the machine/motor control. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee
