after booting from cd and running the config get a blue screen saying windows is shuting. how do i get past this to continue scrubing the vista and installing the xp

first go to BIOS and set the boot device options.
1 st boot device: cd 2nd boot device : none 3rd : none: and all others none. now try to do. rember to change the boot device to hard disk after installation of xp is over.

Boot from cd and delete partion where vista is installed after that play set up .
