Have one hdd sata with OP and 3 more IDE. have a missing contrler for Raid in my device manager. Can only start bios with SATA only and no ide acess or P/S-ata (auto) don´t find boot HDD. Also have a message on boot like this:
FastTrack 579(ta) bios version 2.00.0.17
(c) 2003-2005 promine technology Inc. All right reserved
No drive attached tp fastTrack controller
[NOTE] the bios is not installed

i have exactly same problem... try to flash bios but can´t detect kb on startup.
Have you solved your problem? Tomorrow i will change the board
