You add the printer to the router not the PC. Go to the manufacturers website for installation instructions. or follow the instructions on the disc. Set up is usually done with a wired connection anyway. But to make your tower wireless it is easier to add a wireless USB adaptor.

if you are sure its a wireless router and you cant find it with your pc then maybe your pc's wifi (wireless finder) is spoilt or your router is faulty. try using a different pc to try connecting using the wireless to help determine if the problem is from your pc or router
Try going to Network and Sharing Center - Manage Network Connections. Click on the connection and enable it. Also try Network and Sharing

If dynamic, try configuring it with static setting. 4. If this don't work, try the wireless card on a different slot. 5. if don't work, try on a different PC to see if wireless card is working or not. Connect the home wireless network router box to the main PC through an ethernet cable with the PC powered off and the home wireless router powered off, then power on the PC & the router. Vista should locate the new wireless network and follow the windows vista network setup procedures. After the wireless network has been detected you then while the second PC's power is shut off you connect dongle adapter to the PC power on and XP will locate the new adapter. You will probably have to enter your networks pin for the connection.
