I'm looking for a new monitor also!
Today (6-22-2010), MAYBE our 10th time using this unit (MAYBE), one of the monitors started smoking! You guessed it, this monitor is no longer working. The DVD Player and Second monitor are still working! I really liked this unit until this happened. I really liked that we could hook up a video game machine (x-Box, Wii or PlayStation) and play video games on one monitor and watch a movie on the other monitor. It has kept our older kid and our grandkids occupied on our short 2 hour trips.

You can also order other parts needed at the link above as I had ordered an adaptor for inside outlets a year or two ago (I haven't used the adaptor yet, I just wanted it in case I should ever need it).

Myself, I think I'm either going to find a used monitor for less $$$ or replace the whole unit as I can plck up a comparable model at Target, Wal-Mart or Meijer's for under $100.00 USD! I purchased this unit at Radio Shack for about $175 a few years back. Can't see spending $120 for another monitor that may fry again after such little and gentle use.
