This is a fuser error code meaning that the fixing film in the fuser is not rotating and is most likey damaged. You will need to replace the fixing film assembly ( FG6-6039-000). The other parts you may need, if damaged are FG6-5709-000 , Cleaning Roller, Fixing and FB5-4942-000 Pressure Roller. First of all try resetting the code. Additional function key, then 2 & 8 keys at the same time and then the additional function key again. Press Copier, Function ( at top ), CLEAR, ERR, then OK. Power down copier and power back up. It may work temporarily but the fuser assy needs to be looked at.
If the error comes back, reset the error once again and leave copier turned off and better yet unplugged.
Open the front door, lower left door and remove the screw from the cable that holds the door up ( black screw that is in the door ), then lower door more until you can unplug the connector and carefully lower further to remove door completely form the copier.
You will see a black cover on the left side rear - unscrew and remove it. Then unplug the three connectors underneath it.. Remove the black paper guide cover over the fuser assy by removing the brass colored screw on the right. Lower it carefully and remember to see how it goes back into position. Remove the two screws that secure the fuser and remove the fuser. Sometimes angling the fuser from the rear first helps in removal.
You should be able to see how to separate the fuser assy by removing the two springs and carefully looking and loosing the wires on the left side. Determine what things need to be replaced and reverse proceedure for reinstallation.
