This is in regards to the uninstalling of Internet Explorer 8. I am currently using Windows Vista Basic with the SP1 and SP2 undates. I hope this will help you out.

There are three ways you can uinstall IE8-:

1. Go to control panel >> programs & features >> select ie8 from the list and click on remove

2. Press the windows key and the letter R on the keyboard together, a run box will appear.Type CMD and click on OK.Now a command prompt screen will appear.Now copy and paste this command as it is- %windir%\ie8\spuninst\spuninst.exe
and hit enter

3. You can use a free tool from Microsoft to uinstall IE8, following is the link for downloading the uninstaller tool -: http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9646982
Copy and paste this link the address bar of the browser ,download this tool and run it.It will automatically uninstall IE8 from your machine.
