I was removing programs to clear up my extremely slow XPS400 and now I do not have any sound.  I have been looking and assumed there would be a free Dell driver repair program but all I keep getting finding are $30 scan programs.  What do you recommend?

If you have the integrated audio option then download the Sigmatel Audio driver from support.dell.com
If you have an expansion audio card (In an expansion slot below the video card) then Download the Creative Driver
