Hello I changed my computer and am now using Windows 7 I hade Windows ex My scanner is a epson perfection 1250 It will not run with Windows 7 I need a pilote Please help

Today I installed VueScan on my Win7 (7264) X64. After that the 1250 was still not recognized. Go to start and execute/run devmgmt.msc. You will get the hardware list with a yellow marker on your scanner driver. Double klick on that icon. Now you need to go to the second tab (driver program if I translate it) and second button (renew if I translate it) where you can install drivers for the device. Tell windows to search on your computer and point to the VueScan directory (directly on C: , not in programs). Now Windows 7 (7264) X64 will find the driver and your Epson 1250 is recognized. :-) Tested and working.

This same method worked for installing the AlexP drivers for my PS3 Eyetoy on windows 7 (7264). Tested and working also.

You did not provide information about which OS you are using; the following link, when clicked upon will take you to the driver download page. Simply select your Windows version and you can download the driver absolutely free.

I posted this for another user but i'll post it here too,

I remember looking for hours for a driver for my Epson 1200 scanner back when I upgraded by dad to Vista 64 Bit, eventually I found one. Just today I upgraded him to Windows 7 64 bit and remembered I couldn't get it to work, luckily I was able to dig up the driver I used for Vista 64. Worked great in Windows 7.

I can't remember where I found it so I can't credit the person who made the driver unfortunately, however i've uploaded it to Rapidshare for you to download. Here is the link:

Just open up the zip file and run the setup. :)

Sorry, but I don't believe there is or ever will be a driver written for that scanner & Win 7, The best that could be done is to try an install as administrator and in Compatibility Mode XP SP2
