How do I replace the belt on a Precor EFX 5.23 elliptical trainer?

I already have the belt - I need advice as to how to install it. Your link to the manual does not work

The comments you provided are worthless. I have the owners manual and it does not address the issue. If I wanted to go buy a repair manual I wouldn't have wasted my time asking you. I have the correct replacement belt and I've taken the covers off the machine. There is no obvious way to replace the belt. If you can't help me, at least don't waste my time.

Forget any additional advice. I have an owners manual for the efx 5.23 and it does not address any issue of repair.

I replaced the belt today myself. I don't need any more useless advice.

You may have to purchase the belt from a Precor dealer in you area, if you don't have one then call Precor directly @ 1-800-347-4404 and they will help you. Most of these part have not hit the secondary market yet and Precor pretty much call the shots on whom the sell parts and support to.
There is a place on line to get some of these, it is. www.treadmilldoctor.com/Products-Services2/precor-treadmill-belt.
The manual can be found at. fitness.manualsonline.com/ex/thread/view/idThread/2141832
This place has manuals and user manulas along with support and some partswww.shopwiki.com/Precor+EFX+5.171 I believe this unit has a 10 yr warranty with it and the part in question may be covered by them. There is also a 1 year part warrant for other parts, I just don't know what parts they are covering for the 10 yr.

I Checked the link it is working you just have to cut and past in the browser. These manuals have to be purchased, but I will look further for you and see what I can find. It might be later this evening.

Alright I looked and looked for the diagram or instructions on this and can't find any. You can get the owners manual from precor and it is free, you just have to navigate their site to find it. I looked at it and it does not give any advise on changing the belt. It does state that the trainer has a 10 yr warranty and 1 year labor. Most parts are covered under the 10yr, I looked and it does not say belts are not covered so I assume they are. On most machines of this type I have worked on they are not that difficult, just a matter of taking the covers off and replacing the part, there is a spring tensioner on this trainer that needs to keep tension on the belt.
I will keep my eyes and ears open for instructions if I can find them
