which operating system? in XP you can try to hit start menu, click on ALL Programs, then click on Startup folder if you see the window listed in that folder you can right click on it then choose delete from the pop down menu that opens. Hi all!!! I am soooo excited!! I found a solution to fix the abnormal program termination with my picture it 2002!!!! Many, many thanks to John Inzer who made this info available!! I just recently install Window 7 ultimate on my computer and then Acrobat 8 Pro start acting up. Try to open PDF file it will open for a little while then this thing pop up said Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Library and Runtime Error. Then it shut down.

hi i found an easy simple way to fix: (microsoft visualc++ runtime error), what i did, i created a new user name and password. then after i did this i opend on pinnacle studio icon i right clicked on program and opened the program RUN AS
once opened RUN AS.. will ask you: which user account do you want to run the program?
you should DISABLE (UNMARK) the: protect my computer and data from unautorizes program activity. Disable ONLY for pinnacle program. next you can keep you account or change user. click ok an problem solved.
I had endless nights with my pinnacle program i just start to render and after couple hours i get runtime error, but since i have used it this way, my program working proply, my sound used to start and just go away, but since doing this,everything working. made 2 dvd"s today.

I'm having the same problem with the runtime error and I did what you said but it didn't work!
I made a seperate account and everything and unchecked the protected thinggg and it still didnt work.
Whenever I try to click "make movie"
that message comes up.
or even if I'm just saving and then when I close the program, it comes up then too.
